Suncast — Privacy Policy

Suncast is built privacy-first. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Everything the app does is calculated on your device.

Location

Suncast uses your location only on your device to calculate the sun and moon positions, golden hour, sunrise and sunset times for where you are. Your location is never uploaded, never shared, and never stored on any server. You can also search for any place manually without granting location access.

Camera & Motion

If you use the augmented-reality (AR) sky view, Suncast uses the camera and motion/compass sensors only to display where the sun and moon are in the sky around you, in real time. No photos or video are recorded, saved, or transmitted.

What we don't do

• No analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers.
• No account, no sign-in, no email collection.
• No data leaves your device. The app works fully offline.

Purchases

Suncast Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. We never see your payment information.
