Privacy Policy

Summary

Compresso collects no personal data. It is a photo compressor. Photos you pick are processed entirely on your iPhone. Nothing about you, your photos, or your usage is ever sent to a server.

What we do not collect

• No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking SDKs.
• No advertising identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, or otherwise).
• No crash-report aggregator (Apple's built-in crash reports go directly to App Store Connect; you control opt-in in iOS Settings).
• No email, no name, no contact information unless you email us first.
• No photo content, no EXIF data, no thumbnails, no filenames.

Photo Library access

iOS asks for permission the first time you tap "Choose Photos". Compresso uses that permission only to read the photos you explicitly pick from the system picker, and (if you choose to save) to write the compressed result back to your library. All image processing happens entirely on-device using Apple's ImageIO framework. No image data ever leaves your phone.

In-app purchase

The one-time Pro upgrade ($3.99) is processed by Apple's StoreKit 2. Apple handles payment, refunds, and tax. We receive only an anonymous transaction confirmation that this Apple ID has unlocked Pro.

Children

Compresso has no content unsafe for children and collects no data, so it is suitable for all ages.

Changes

If this policy changes we update this page and the Last updated date above. The app's Settings → Privacy Policy link always points to the current version.
