RecalcCalcu does not collect any personal data. It is a calculator. Everything you type stays on-device or, if you opt-in to iCloud sync, on Apple's encrypted infrastructure under your own iCloud account. We never see your calculations.
If you upgrade to Pro and enable iCloud, your calculation sheets, history, and named variables sync between your Apple devices through Apple's CloudKit (private database). Apple stores this data; we do not have access to it. Sign out of iCloud at any time in iOS Settings to stop syncing.
The currency converter fetches public exchange rates from frankfurter.app (ECB data) and crypto rates from CoinGecko. These third-party services receive only the codes you are converting (e.g., "USD" to "EUR")—not your identity, not your IP-address-tied profile, not your calculation history. Quotes are cached for 24 hours to minimize requests.
The one-time Pro upgrade is processed by Apple's StoreKit 2. Apple handles payment, fraud prevention, refunds, and tax. We receive only an anonymous transaction confirmation that this Apple ID has unlocked Pro.
RecalcCalcu has no content unsafe for children and collects no data, so it is suitable for all ages.
If this policy changes, we update this page and the Last updated date above. The app's About screen always links to the current version.
